1st Draft

This is the `st draft of my front cover. However for the smaller images I took out the white background. So now it looks like much better:

 

This is just an example of how my DPS is going to look like. I have not yet edited the images but once done it will look better.

2nd Questionnaire

This is a questionnaire that I made to get feedback from the audience. I did not know what image to use for my main image so I ask females from the age of 12-16 years old to choose which one they liked the best and which one they would like to see as a main image..

New results

When I did my pitch I got told that my results were wrong as I ask an equal amount of 5 boys and girls to answer my questionnaire. I need to target a specific gender. So what I did is that I asked 5 girls instead of boys to answer my questionnaire in odre to get good results that will lead me to the right track. Here are the results:

Due to my new results I now have a clear view of what my target audience want to see in a Pop magazine. It aslo gave me ideas on how I should approach my onw product. In order to create a successful magazine I would have to make sure that it looks interesting and that it represents youth,this also includes that images that I am going to be using. I will need to be carefull in terms of the offers that I am going to be posting as my target audience os 12-16 years old. I will have to try to make a magzine that looks young, intereting and good to read. I will aslo have to use the correct font and colors.

When I did my pitch the whole class including the teacher gave me feedback in order to give me ideas and improve my magazine:
I got feedback about my test shots. They said that I did a lot of test shots and they all look good and they are a lot that I could use, however the cropping was not to good and I need to improve on that because when it comes to making my real product I will need to crop the images properly otherwise I could lose marks. The teacher then told me that I need to think about the locations of the first test shots because it might be hard to edit the picture.
My major problem was that in my pitch I said that I was targeting both genders. This is a issue as it will be hard to produce a magzine that is targeting both males and females. My results are wrong as I ask 5 girls and boys to answer my questionnnaire when I was suppose to ask girls only as they are my main audience. So I might have to re-do my results in order to get reliable results.
I also got told that my front page was very good and had good detailed about where each things are going to go however I aslo got feedback on my DPS and I will need to work harder on it in order to make it better.

My Pitch

Test Shots

These are the first test shots that I took. I was trying to go for a casual smwrt dress kind of look. However she is wearing to different outfits and they both represent two characters this is why for my real imgages I will have to use the same outifts and background. The pictures with the windows as the background are not so good as she is suppose to be famous and in a sudio. All of the posses are good and with a different background adn pop clothes the pictures would look better that is why dor my real thing i will make sure that I think about these features more.

Here are my second test shots. We used a plain beige background. This background could work however it might not work with the main colours that I want to use. We also took pictures on a balcony and some of them do look nice but they do not show her as Pop start. On here I also used close-mid shot, long shot and close up.

Here is the third and she is wearing the same casual clothes but she is posing on another background. The poses look very nice and at the same time she looks cute, confident and sassy.

Here are some moe test shots. On my magazine I want to offer free posters in order to get my target audience more interested into bying the magazine. I don`t know which imagaes I am going to be using as my main image. But this is a girls band and they rae going to be called `Harmonix`. On these images they look close and that is good as I am trying to represent friendship.

In order to get ideas for my music magazine I ask ten people to feel in a questionnaire. I wanted to be able to get the audience opinion about what they wanted to see in a music magazine. More than two answers were give for each question except for the gender.

Even though blue is suppose to be a boy`s colours a lot of girls shows it as one of the colours that I should use for my magazine. A lot more people expect to see female on the front cover of the magazine and this tells me that a female start has a strong impact in today`s society. This might be due to the type of songs they do or to the way they are: - Nice personality - Cute Clothes and shoes were the highest scores for the offers that they wanted to see  in a magazine and this suggest that due to the improvement of fashion, young teenagers are more interested in clothes and shoe than make-up or beauty product. This is something that they would wear everyday and out in public with therefore it is crucial for them to look good and fashionable. A list was give to what they thought the Pop should wear. All of the choices were all pointing towards today`s fashion type. So they want to see someone looking like they come form today`s modern world otherwise they might not be interested in reading the magazine at all.

Mood board

This is my my mood board. I am going to be using black, yellow, pink and white as they are the most seen colors that I saw on each magazines that I analysed. Due to my results I am going to be posting offers on clothes, shoes and beauty products. Ariana Grande is the type of girls that I am aspiring my magazine embody. She uis cute, confident and sassy and she has good fashion sense. I want my models make-up to be simple and not ot broad.
